Drug form and composition

Solution for injection. Solvent. One ampoule of 1 ml, 2 ml, 5 ml or 10 ml contains 1 ml, 2 ml, 5 ml or 10 ml sterilized water for injections, respectively.

Indications

The product is used as solvent of drugs (mostly lipophilic forms) for parenteral administration.

Dosage and administration

The product is used as intravenous injection, in necessary quantity, depending on the particular case.

Contraindications

There are no contraindications.

Special warnings and precautions

The preparation should be apyrogenic (in the opposite situation febrile reactions are possible). Do not allow freezing!

Drug interactions

It should not be mixed with oleiferous solutions for injection.

Adverse reactions

There are no adverse reactions, when the product is used properly.

Pharmacological mechanisms

The sterilized water for injections is used as solvent or diluents for water soluble drugs.
