- COMPOSITION:
Euquinine - 3.5 %
Camphor - 10 %
Thymol - 3 %
Menthol - 2 %
Eucalyptol - 1.1 %
Sunflower oil
ACTION:
The antiseptic action of the essential oils is combined with the
antimicrobial and antiphlogistic action of euquinine and the
analeptic action of comphor on the respiratory and vasomotor
centers. Furthermore, euquinine facilitates phagocytosis, slows down
the conduction of impulses in the cardiac muscle, has an analgesic
and sedative effect. Menthol, thymol and eucalyptol have an
antiseptic action during their elimination through the respiratory
pathways. They have a cooling, vasoconstrictive, local anesthetic
and antiphlogistic action, this enhancing the intensive
expectoration of bronchial secretes. Camphor and the active
substances of the essential oils activate the reticulo-endothelial
system and stimulate the respiratory and vasomotor centers. |
INDICATIONS:
Inflammatory diseases of the bronchi and lungs, chronic cases in
particular: chronic pneumonia, bronchiectasis, gangrene and abscess
of the lungs.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to some of the components, particularly to quinine.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Intramuscularly - 1-1 ml, 1-2 times daily, for 10-15 days. To
children below 12 years of age - 1-2 ml, once daily. To children up
to 5 years - 0.5-1 ml, one daily.
MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Packages with 10 and 50 ampoules of 2 ml.
STORAGE:
At moderate temperature (15-30° C).
EXPIRY:
3 (three) years.
