COMPOSITION:
Silymarin 35 mg in one dragee

ACTION:
The active substance of the preparation is of plant origin and has a stabilizing action on the cellular membrane of hepatic cells (hepatocytes). Carsil restores their normal structure and metabolism with respect to protein synthesis, content of glycoproteins and glycogen. The stabilization of the specific hepatic functions improves the general state of the patient, the complaints connected with the digestive system decrease, the appetite improves and the patient gains weight. The indices for the functional state of the liver are normalized. Carsil prevents the hepatocytes from fatty degeneration and is distinguished by its very good resorption and tolerance.

INDICATIONS:
Acute and chronic hepatitis, hepatic steatosis and cirrhosis, toxic-metabolic hepatic dystrophies and damage (medicamentous, radial, etc.).

SIDE EFFECTS:
Increase of preceding vestibular disturbances, dyspeptic complaints and alopecia may be very rarely observed in predisposed patients, they disappear after the administration of the preparation is disconnected.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
The preparation is administered for adults in a dose of 1-2 pills, 3 times daily. In case of strongly damaged hepatic function, the daily dose may be doubled. The treatment course lasts not less than 3 months. The prophylactic daily dose is 70-100 mg.

MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Pills of 35 mg in packs of 80.

STORAGE:
At moderate temperature (15-30° C) protected from light.

EXPIRY:
2 (two) years.
