- COMPOSITION:
Zinc oxide 10 % in ointment base.
ACTION:
Zinc oxide has an antiseptic, binding and drying action upon the
skin. It also has a covering action which protects the skin from
noxious effects, such as rubbing sore, irritation by secreta,
excreta, etc.
INDICATIONS:
Inflammatory processes of the epidermis, open wounds, etc.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
It should not be applied on secreting wounds and skin surfaces, or
upon hairy skin areas. |
