- COMPOSITION:
Undecylenic acid 2 %, Undelylenic zinc 10 %, Pine oil 0.4 %,
Starch 37.6 %, talc 50 %.
ACTION:
An antimycotic agent. Undecylenic acid and its zinc salt disturb the
lipid metabolism of fungi and thus destroy them.
INDICATIONS:
Interdigital and inguinal epidermomycosis and moniliasis.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
The affected skin areas powdered in the evening after a hot bath and
proper drying. Due to refractory affection and its frequent
recurrences in incomplete healing, the treatment is recommended to
be continued even after the abatement of the clinical symptoms for
at least another 4-6 weeks, the affected areas being treated 1-2
times weekly. |
