- COMPOSITION:
Tilidine hydrochloride
- 50 mg/1 ml; 100 mg/2 ml
in one ampoule;
10 % solution and 75 mg
in one suppository.
ACTION:
A synthetic narcotic analgesic from the group of
phenylaminocyclohexanes. It also has spasmolytic action. It does not
induce suppression of respiration and does not cause obstipation,
which in common for the analgesic agents of narcotic type
(morphine). Addiction is rather difficult to develop. The intensity
of the action and the analgesic effect are identical, regardless of
the mode of administration, they occur quickly (after 5-20 min) and
last rather longer (4-6 h).
PHARMACOKINETICS:
Tilidine is well resorbed, regardless of the mode of administration.
It is methabolized in the liver, 90% of it is excreted with the
urine as metabolites and only an insignificant part - unchanged.
INDICATIONS:
Pain syndrome in articular diseases with chronic course; malignant
neoplasms; spasticity accompanied by strong pain of the digestive
tract; urinary and biliary ducts; postoperative pain in surgery,
orthopedics and traumatology, gynecology, stomatology,
oto-rhinolaryngology; neuralgia, especially neuralgia of the
trigeminal nerve; analgesia in diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures. |
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Pregnancy, renal insufficiency. Do not prescribe to drivers! Alcohol
must not be consumed during the treatment with the drug.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Dizziness, nausea and vomiting, faint spells, particularly during
physical loading. In case of their occurrence - lying position is
recommended. It can cause drug addiction more rarely than the other
narcotic agents.
DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Valoron enhances the central depressive action of alcohol,
analeptics, analgesic agents, barbiturates, tranquilizers, tricyclic
antidepressants.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
The treatment is carried out in hospital or in the patient's home,
under physician's control (at the beginning in particular). It is
usually prescribed as 5 to 20 drops on a lump of sugar, 3-4 times
daily.
MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Packages with 10, 50 and 100 ampoules of 50 mg/1 ml and 100 mg/2 ml
(5 %).
Solution - 10 % in vials of 10 ml.
Suppositories - 75 mg in packages of 6.
STORAGE:
At moderate temperature (15-30 C).
EXPIRY:
3 (three) years.
