- COMPOSITION:
Tempidon (2,2-6,6-tetra-methilpiperidon-(4)-p-toluolsulfonat) 20
mg
Noramidopyrine methansulfonate sodium 300 mg
in one suppository.
Tempidon 20 mg
Noramidopyrine methansulfonate sodium 500 mg
in one filmtablet.
ACTION:
A combined analgesic drug, making use of the potentiating action
of the tranquilizer tempidon on analgin-induced analgesia.
Analgin has analgesic, antipyretic and antiphlogistic action.
Tempidon has a "mild" tranquilizing action, eliminates
strain, fear and anxiety. Its action on the vegetative nervous
system is by blocking the transmission of the impulses in the
vegetative ganglia.
Tempalgin is distinguished for a very good tolerance and has
twice stronger and longer therapeutic action compared to analgin.
INDICATIONS:
As a pain-relieving agent in neuritis, lumbago, postoperative pain,
headache, toothache, biliary and renal colic.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Severe liver and kidney diseases, decompensated cardiac defect,
leukopenia. |
SIDE EFFECTS:
Allergic reactions are likely to occur.
PRECAUTIONS:
Alcohol should not be used during the treatment and driving is not
allowed. Caution should be paid during treatment with hypnotics,
narcotics and hypotensive agents.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Adults:
Orally - 1 tablet, 1-4 times daily.
Rectally - 1 suppository, 1-3 times daily.
MEDICINAL FORM AND PACKAGE:
Packages with 6 suppositories.
Packages with 10 filmtablets.
STORAGE:
Suppositories - at a temperature not higher than 30 C.
Filmtablets - at moderate temperature (15-30 C) in a place protected
from direct sunlight.
EXPIRY:
2 (two) years. |
